Peadar Dalton

B Drop Caporn and raised in the West of Ireland, Peadar was educated in Ireland and the United States. Peadar (pronounced like rather with a "P") was ordained as a Catholic Priest in Ireland. He immigrated to the United States many years ago, and has a nation-wide reputation for his own special ministry in the Celtic spirituality, and his philosophy that the human person is the clearest reflection of the Divine in the world. Peadar was recognized for his involvement in ecumenical dialogue in the 70's and 80's and he served as the Chairperson for a Peace and Justice Commission for a number of years. Peadar embodies a rich combination of Irish depth, charm, wisdom, and humor. In addition to being a seasoned speaker, he is sought after for his unique wedding ceremonies of all faiths and traditions, rites of passage, and memorial services.Celtic Circle

As a licensed therapist and certified mediator, his focus is on individual, family and community-based conflict, using diverse models of conflict resolution and therapeutic interventions. He is best known for his spiritual mentoring and family reconciliation. He consults with fellow clergy, church communities, and organizations.

Peadar also co-leads journeys to his homeland annually where you will visit many of the most significant sacred sites. His wife, Margarita, has been researching, planning and leading these journeys to Ireland with him since 1998. Their trips are complemented with many talented and accomplished historians, archaeologists, authors, poets, musicians, storytellers and many other notable speakers in Ireland.
